Rutba

Story of Rutba

Rutba is a 2026 ARY Digital Pakistani drama airing every Monday and Tuesday at 8:00 PM, written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Haseeb Hasan. The drama stars Hiba Bukhari as Mahnoor and Talha Chahour as Hadi, with Zahid Ahmed and Mehwish Hayat in powerful supporting roles.

The story of Rutba — meaning status or position – explores how social standing and pride can shape, and sometimes destroy, human relationships. Mahnoor and Hadi come from different worlds, and their journey is marked by class differences, family expectations and the struggle to protect one's dignity. The drama asks a powerful question: does a person's "rutba" define their worth?
